The Rossoneri moved within a point of winning their second consecutive Serie A game at home, after a 3-2 win at Udinese.
Giuseppe Rossi’s men went into the game with a 10-point lead after two quick goals from Mario Mandzukic and Marco Verratti, but the Nerazzurri equalised in the 70th minute when Mandzuka fired home a cross.
Alessandro Del Piero made it 2-0 in the 74th minute, hitting a low shot into the top corner to give the hosts a lead.
However, they came up short when Diego Milito volleyed over from the penalty spot after Mandzuki’s excellent effort had been saved by Alessandro De Marchi.
Afterwards, the Nerazurri were handed a late 3-0 win by Lazio, who had won the previous three meetings.
The Nerazrini lead the league standings by three points with five games remaining, with the Giallorossi just a point behind.
Juventus host Lazio on Saturday at the Stadio Olimpico.
